5/9/2014 — The upstart feature news gathering and storytelling site Voctativ.com recently published an exclusive article on the ‘epic clash between JohnTV’s anti-prostitution vigilante Brian Bates and L.A. hustler Taquarius Ford.’
The article, entitled ‘Revenge of the Beverly Hills pimp,’ takes readers through the previously unreported feud that erupted between JohnTV and alleged pimp and con-man Taquarius Ford, aka Cameron, aka T-Diddy Ford.
A feud that only ended after the FBI’s involvement that resulted in Ford being held without bond on human sex trafficking charges.
Here’s some excepts from the article written by Shane Dixon Kavanaugh…
“This guy is on a different level than any pimp—or any man—I’ve ever dealt with,” says Bates, who recounted to us, for the first time, the details of a bizarre feud he claims to have had with Ford. The beef lasted three months, ending only when the feds charged the alleged pimp in February. “In my 17 years doing this, I’ve never seen someone so motivated to take me down.” — Brian Bates
“I was certainly poking the bear, so that he’d turn around and swipe at me,” Bates says.
In the end, the video vigilante may have gotten more than he bargained for. Three days after publishing the piece, Bates caught the first whiffs of a digital shitstorm he believes Ford and Prinster, with their hubris and passable grasp of the Internet, attempted to orchestrate.
